Whether it’s the first or the fifth time you are having a child being a mother is something to write home about. The experience is always new and fascinating, well almost. It would have been nice if someone cut you some slack. There is a tendency for babies to ruin your plan to catch some rest with loud shrieks. As soon as the baby is back to sleep a shriek from your backyard sends you off your game. Your other kids are fighting and being a referee is not your idea of a good time. Then you are awakened by the reality of the half done work that was interrupted when you picked up the call reminding you of a school meeting. The food you are preparing was on the verge of burning. What’s worse is that its just the start.

As a mother you’ll be surprised at how busy your schedule always is. This calls for you to regain your life again. It is good to be there for other people as long as you are not neglecting yourself. That is why a nice little break will be in order. Take a time out in the course of the day and make it absolutely clear to all, your kids included that you are having a relaxing session. Dancing is a great stress reliever primarily because no one states that it should be perfect. Its impossible to go wrong with good music by your side. The thing about people who always have something to say about your kitchen sink is that they could be of help if you ask nicely. It is also a great plan to have a night out with friends. If you don’t have close friends the best you can do is make some. Get as much help as you can because you deserve it.

Most mothers neglect themselves and their health because their time is limited. With a lot to be done good use of time will see you achieve more . Your health is the first priority because if its poor then you are not going to deliver properly. You may not have an hour to spend in the gym but with kettle bell exercises you could stay fit with half of the time. Exercise does not have to be a workout even simple things like running up and down the stairs and chasing your kids could prove useful. The trick is to never let go of a good old balanced diet with just a bit of healthy fats. The secret to life is not to sweat the small stuff and its all small stuff. While their might be a lot of advice extended to you the point is settling for what works and deliberately ignoring the others.
